Lisa is an accomplished litigator with two decades of extensive courtroom experience. She first-chairs commercially sensitive and bet-the-company cases throughout the US, and has a proven track record of favorably resolving high-stakes corporate matters. Her clients include Fortune 100 companies, private equity-owned companies, insurance companies, and financial services institutions.

As a former federal prosecutor, Lisa advises senior management and their boards of directors in investigations and related complex criminal and civil litigation. She is particularly valued for her skills in crisis management, and has become the go-to lawyer for corporate leaders when an issue threatens to disrupt operations or impact the organization's brand or bottom line. Lisa routinely represents clients before federal agencies such as the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Career

Before entering private practice, Lisa had a presidential appointment to serve as a Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General within the DOJ in Washington, DC. She worked within the highest levels of DOJ leadership in guiding the national enforcement of federal law. She also coordinated the DOJ’s responses to congressional inquiries and assisted in the drafting of key regulations and laws passed by Congress.

Lisa previously served for several years as a federal prosecutor with the DOJ in Washington, DC, where she received numerous commendations and awards for the investigation and prosecution of high-profile criminal cases across the country. Lisa began her legal career as a state prosecutor.
