Luis is a Partner in the Capital Markets team of Linklaters in Paris and Madrid and also works frequently with Milan and other European offices. Luis specialises in securities offerings involving US investors by foreign private and sovereign issuers, whether registered with the SEC or conducted pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S. He advises issuers and underwriters (in French, Spanish and Italian equity offerings) on various debt products, including high yield bonds, investment grade bonds, regulatory capital instruments, covered bonds and commercial paper, as well as on liability management transactions. He also advises in equity offerings such as IPOs, rights offering and block trades. He also has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions and structured finance.
