Łukasz Hejmej is an advocate and heads the Baker McKenzie Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Group in Poland. He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw and Columbia University, New York.

Łukasz has extensive experience in the resolution of various types of commercial disputes before both the common courts and arbitration courts, domestic and international. He has extensive experience in cases involving various types of corporate disputes, mainly post-M&A and other commercial disputes.

He specializes in litigation involving the liability of financial institutions and securities. He mainly advises banks, insurance companies and other entities operating on the financial services and securities markets on matters relating to civil, administrative or criminal liability. In addition, Łukasz also specializes in civil liability matters for entities providing professional services. In his professional practice, he has also represented clients in disputes involving currency and commodity derivatives as well as restructuring and bankruptcy issues.
