Career
Mario Barros joined the firm in 1996 and he became a partner in 2008. He is based in the Madrid office of Uría Menéndez.
Mario has a Degree in Law, Universidad de Salamanca, and a Master’s Degree in Labor and Employment Law, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He was a guest student at the Stiftung Maximilianeum, Ludwig Maximiliam Universität, Munich.
He has an extensive experience in collective labour matters (redundancies, bargaining negotiation, etc.).
He assists in the negotiation, drafting and termination of employment contracts, especially for senior executives, remuneration systems, as well as on transactional labour law issues (mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructurings) and outsourcing.
