Matt DiRisio is a partner in the Securities Litigation Group whose practice covers the full spectrum of securities-related litigation, from M&A litigation and contests for corporate control, to federal securities class actions, to stockholder derivative litigation and demand investigations, to corporate governance litigation and advice, to post-closing disputes fraud and indemnification actions, to alternative entity disputes and D&O coverage advice. He also regularly represents clients in regulatory inquiries and investigations.
Matt is a first-chair trial lawyer with extensive experience in various state and federal courts, including the Delaware Court of Chancery and Supreme Courts and federal courts throughout the country, as well as before domestic and international arbitral tribunals. He has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, including technology/e-commerce; commercial and investment banking; private equity; hedge funds; retail and consumer products, insurance; energy; oil and gas; health care; biotech; semiconductors; and telecommunications.
