Matthew, a partner in our Washington DC office, advises clients on a wide range of international trade matters, with particular emphasis on trade remedies such as antidumping and countervailing duty cases, as well as Section 201 (global safeguards), Section 232 (national security), and Section 301 (unfair trade investigation) actions.

In antidumping and countervailing duty matters, Matthew both defends foreign producers and US importers against US unfair trade allegations and assists US industries facing unfair import competition or surges. He has extensive experience in Asia, having lived and worked there for six years as an international trade lawyer, gaining firsthand, in-depth knowledge around Vietnamese, Indonesian and Chinese companies and their business practices. Matthew leverages this invaluable experience for clients, whether defending manufacturers in those countries or assisting US manufacturers facing injurious imports from them.
