Co-head of the firm's class actions practice, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, Mike is recognised as one of Canada's leading commercial and class action litigators. He advises and represents clients on all issues relating to commercial litigation and class proceedings, including product liability, securities, competition and other commercial matters.

Mike has been appointed Special Master by the Superior Court of Justice in three class actions and amicus curiae in a major class action appeal. In 2017, Michael was awarded the Law Society Medal by the LSUC, recognizing his undisputed leadership in the Class Action Bar and outstanding commitment to public service. He is a frequent speaker to organizations such as the International Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, The Advocates' Society and The Law Society of Ontario. Michael is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, teaching class actions. He is active in community and charitable activities and currently serves as Chair of the Board of War Child Canada.
