Michael’s practice focuses on capital markets and securities law matters, with deep knowledge of securities regulation and corporate finance matters. He routinely acts for issuers and securities dealers in public and private equity and debt financings across multiple industry sectors, including numerous IPOs. Michael also advises Canadian reporting issuers in various industry sectors on regulatory compliance matters, including listings (both domestic and cross-border), governance and disclosure issues.
Michael also has industry-leading experience working with clients in the REIT and real estate sectors: with broad market awareness, he supports leading Canadian REITs and other prominent real estate entities in respect of their securities law and capital markets activities.
