Career

Mihály is a Senior Associate at Bird & Bird's Budapest office, specialising in all aspects of tax advice for a wide variety of clients, with particular expertise in tax litigation.

Mihály is highly experienced in providing assistance on a wide range of tax matters for local and international companies across a broad spectrum of industries, including energy, IT, telecommunication, and real estate.

He also regularly represents his clients in their disputes with the tax authorities, from tax audits through administrative appeals to court proceedings, including representation of clients before the European Court of Justice and the Supreme Court of Hungary.

Before joining Bird & Bird, Mihály led the tax litigation practice of a Big4 company. Prior to that he was director at a global tax services and software provider.
