Nancy is a partner who leads the Labor & Employment practice group at Thompson Hine. Her approach to employment law is to provide tailored solutions to her clients – whether in the context of litigation, counseling or compliance. Nancy is admitted in Ohio, Illinois and the District of Columbia and defends clients in single plaintiff and class action disputes. She has significant experience litigating and counseling clients on employment issues including Title VII, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, WARN, ERISA and non-competition agreements, as well as related state law tort claims. In her counseling practice, she leverages her 25 years of experiencing in bringing a practical, cost-effective and proactive approach to problem-solving and dispute resolution. As a trusted advisor, Nancy also designs and presents training programs and conducts internal investigations for clients. She frequently assists employers who are planning reductions-in-force or early retirement incentive programs and consults with companies and individuals in the drafting and negotiation of employment agreements, severance packages, physician agreements and employment policies. She also represents clients in a wide variety of contract disputes, business torts and the enforcement of non-competition and confidentiality agreements. Finally, Nancy serves as a mediator and an arbitrator in employment disputes.
