Nathan is a partner in our Real Estate office in Manchester. He has a wide range of experience in all aspects of commercial property law. His particular focus is in relation to major retail, industrial and mixed use acquisitions, disposals and developments. He also advises major funds on property investment and asset management.
The legal directories recognise Nathan for his expertise in Commercial Property and he has helped clients to deliver a number of fantastic retail and industrial developments.
In the Manchester market Nathan is well known for setting up the >1million square foot Omega North Industrial Development Scheme.

Work Highlights
BUPA on the Funding and Development of the 145,000 Square Foot North West regional headquarters at Salford Quay. This is a strategically important transaction for BUPA which will lead to the creation of a new purpose built facility and involve the transfer of circa 2000 staff across offices.
Nathan led the team acting on all aspects of the transaction including real estate and construction following a late change of direction which required a substantial legal team working against tight timescales.
DB Symmetry and Pochins on the acquisition over 1.7 million square feet of logistics consented land which was being placed into a joint venture vehicle and branded as the “Magnitude” development. Retained going forward by the joint venture vehicle to deal with the construction, forward funding and disposal of the development parcels for the joint venture vehicle. The development (which will be completed in phases) will extend over a 3-5 year period.
Cromwell Property Group on a variety of matters including the mandate in relation to a circa £350 million UK-based (£800 million Europe wide) Real Estate Fund known as the Valad European Diversified fund (VEDF). The mandate includes all aspects of on-going investment, acquisition, disposal and management work to the fund.
