NICHOLAS SCHWARTZ is a partner in the New York office and member of the firm’s Global Finance group, focusing primarily on leveraged finance. Nick has experience across a wide range of sizes, industries and jurisdictions, representing public, private and sponsor-backed borrowers in acquisition and non-acquisition contexts. He has advised on financing transactions ranging in size from $15 million to over $15 billion in the syndicated and private credit markets, including recurring revenue based facilities, financings marketed in the United States for the acquisition of foreign targets, concurrent acquisitions and combination of multiple unaffiliated companies, spin-offs and carve-outs, as well as the implementation and subsequent sale of multiple companies using “portable” capital structures. He also has significant experience in the financing and strategic elements of in-court and out-of-court restructurings, including complex liability management and other capital structure transactions.

Nick has been recognized by several industry publications including The Legal 500 US as a “Next Generation Lawyer” in commercial lending (2017 – 2018) and as a "Notable Practitioner" by IFLR1000 (2019 – 2021).
