Panyavith is a partner in the Bangkok office of Baker McKenzie and is active in the Corporate and M&A Practice Group, as well as the Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry Group. He is also a member of Baker McKenzie's Asia Pacific Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry Group Steering Committee.

Panyavith assists major local and multinational clients in a range of heavily regulated industries, such as healthcare & life sciences, chemical and biotech, on large complex mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and post-acquisition integration projects. His primary focus is on healthcare & life sciences and tech transactions, including M&A, fundraising, technology and life sciences collaborations, and legal advice for start-ups. He is one of the first practitioners in Thailand to assist healthcare and health tech companies in the area of telemedicine regulations, collaborations and investment, which have been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Panyavith has also been involved in policy discussions with the Thai Food and Drug Administration on innovative projects, including telepharmacy and medicinal cannabis and hemp. He is also one of the first practitioners in Thailand to advise on, and develop, the legal and contractual framework for a venture capital investment in portfolio companies in Thailand, having advised one of the first major global early-stage venture capital fund to systematically invest in Thailand and lay the groundwork for the startup ecosystem.

In addition, Panyavith is a lecturer for the Contract Negotiation and Drafting Course for the Bachelor of Laws Program at Chulalongkorn University and was a guest lecturer for Business Law for the Masters of Law Program at Thammasat University, two of the leading law schools in Thailand. He also participates as a guest speaker at various seminars and conferences on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital investments, and healthcare & life sciences.
