Paula Trattner

Practice Areas

Paula began her career as both a civil and criminal litigator and became increasingly focused in the field of health law beyond the traditional advocacy sphere. She has represented doctors in medical malpractice and provided advice to physicians and other health care clients in a wide range of areas including risk management, privacy and professional practice reviews. As a member of the Litigation / Health Industry Group, Paula continues to focus on these issues for hospitals and other health care clients, in both the public and private sector. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario as well as numerous administrative and statutory tribunals, including the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, Hospital Board hearings, Medical Advisory Committee meetings and a variety of committees at Ontario’s regulated health professionals colleges. Paula is certified by the Law Society as a Specialist in Health Law. Paula completed her LL.M. (Health Law) in 2014.
