Peter Canfield has handled by dispositive motion, trial or on appeal hundreds of media libel, privacy, access and intellectual property cases. He has represented digital media and cable companies, newspapers, wire services, book and magazine publishers and radio and television broadcast stations and networks, as well as non-media companies and individuals. He also regularly counsels and negotiates prelitigation resolution of such disputes. Media clients, in addition to Georgia-based entities, representative clients have included ABC, AP, Bloomberg, CBS, Condé Nast, ESPN, Hearst, Lions Gate, Macmillan, Microsoft, NPR, Newsweek, New York Times, Penguin Putnam, Time, Times of London and Washington Post.
