Dan Beale co-leads the national Employment & Labor practice group for Dentons' US Region. He represents employers in litigation, administrative charges and governmental investigations in a broad range of employment disputes.
He regularly provides guidance to employers regarding compliance with federal, state and local employment laws. In this counseling role, Mr. Beale advises clients on employment policies, drafting of employment-related agreements and conducting internal investigations of employee complaints.
Mr. Beale regularly helps companies navigate high-level negotiations with executives on employment agreements, compensation packages and separation arrangements, and he works closely with boards of directors in delicate issues involving executive employment.
Mr. Beale has particular experience drafting and litigating agreements involving non-competition covenants and other restrictive covenants. He also has substantial experience with litigation and compliance advice relating to the overtime pay requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
He advises companies on multi-jurisdictional employment matters, including policies and agreements that are compliant across multiple countries.
