He advises Canada-based multinationals on international tax matters and assists corporations with their reorganization and restructuring activities. Private equity fund clients rely on his extensive expertise in fund formation and fund investments. He also advises on corporate tax matters and tax dispute resolution. Ian is a member of the executive of the Canadian Bar Association and Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada Joint Committee on Taxation and a past governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
