Practice Areas
Rahim Co-Chair’s Gibson Dunn’s Global International Arbitration practice. He has extensive experience in international commercial arbitration, investor-state arbitration and transnational litigation. He often appears as lead counsel before tribunals and courts around the world, while developing and coordinating global dispute resolution strategies for his clients in their most complex disputes. That often involves working with public relations consultants, investigators and local counsel in various jurisdictions. He also advises clients on matters of international law and sits as arbitrator in complex international cases. Rahim has experience conducting arbitrations under all of the major arbitration rules (including ICSID, ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, ICDR, SIAC, SCC, CPR and HKIAC), litigating related matters in various courts, and working across numerous industries (including energy, mining, telecommunications, financial services, infrastructure, construction, electronics and consumer products).
Career
Rahim is a member of the adjunct faculty at Columbia Law School and has published several books and articles on matters of international dispute resolution and international law.
