Richard heads Freshfields’ IP/ Technology practice group and is the Technology sector group head in Asia. Richard advises clients on complex technology and brands-heavy transactional and commercial projects (including digital transformations) across Asia, and IP litigation and litigation counselling, especially patent litigation, in Hong Kong and China.
His work also spans the related advisory fields of internet and telecommunications, media & broadcasting regulations, and regional data privacy and cyber security advice - including the Asia-wide handing of several major global data security incidents.
