Partner Richard Ghueldre is in charge of Gide's Insurance, Industrial Risk & Transport practice group. He specialises in French and European insurance and re-insurance law, as well as in tort law.
He has in-depth advisory and litigation experience of insurance contract law (life and non-life), regulatory issues concerning insurance companies and intermediaries (establishment, operational aspects and restructuring), as well as setting up insurance programmes and distribution schemes, both in France and abroad.
Richard has developed an expertise in solving (pre-litigation, disputes and arbitration) and managing claims, in particular as regards industrial risks. He can also draw on broad experience in class actions and dispute resolution, particularly before the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority.
