Roy leads our Business Crime and Regulatory practice. He represents and defends companies which are being investigated or prosecuted by the regulatory authorities. Roy has considerable experience in relation to bribery, corruption, corporate manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter, health and safety, product liability, fraud, trading standards, environmental health and food safety, corporate crime, money laundering, trading, FOIA and licensing matters.

As an experienced corporate crime/investigations partner, Roy has undertaken a wide variety of internal and external investigations including a number with an international dimension.

Roy has also represented companies in some of the highest profile health, safety and environmental cases and numerous multi-jurisdictional product liability cases. He has been recognised as an expert by a number of independent legal publications. He speaks regularly at seminars and training sessions and provides in-house workshops for clients on regulatory issues including the preparation of statutory defences, risk avoidance and how to approach criminal investigations.
