Scott Hammond's practice focuses on the representation of companies before the U.S. DOJ's Antitrust Division as well as before competition authorities in Asia, Latin America and Europe. Scott serves as global coordinating counsel in cross border investigations running in parallel with US DOJ investigations and serves as bridge counsel to local counsel for multinationals in non-US government investigations.
Career
From 2005 to 2013, served as the US DOJ's Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Criminal Antitrust Enforcement and oversaw all of the US DOJ's domestic and international criminal antitrust investigations and litigation and was the principal point of contact for cartel matters with senior competition officials abroad.
