Shannon practices in complex civil litigation on behalf of national and multinational companies.
Shannon represents companies involved in the health care and pharmaceutical industries, energy/oil and gas, financial services, real estate, transportation and telecommunications.
She has significant experience in a variety of substantive areas of law, including commercial contract claims, business torts, antitrust matters and public nuisance cases.
Shannon handles business disputes before federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as in arbitrations and mediations. She also coordinates company resolution strategy, serving as strategic national counsel for large matters.
Shannon is particularly adept when defending against multi-district litigation, putative class actions and other complex matters.
Shannon counsels companies on the plaintiff side of the “v”, including detailed early case assessments assessing the merits of possible litigation arising out of commercial disputes, and filing and litigating the case if needed (including TROs and preliminary injunctions).
