Career
Prior to joining Carey Olsen at the end of 2006, Simon worked for six years with Linklaters and a further two years with Milbank Tweed in London. Simon qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2001 and he became an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in January 2009. Simon became a partner in 2010.
Personal
Simon specialises in debt capital markets, high yield, securitisation and structured finance transactions for clients which include global investment banks, private equity groups and issuers.
Simon has worked on numerous high yield bond issuances with the leading law firms in London and New York and has been involved in the Jersey elements of several credit card securitisation structures.
Simon has also advised on the Jersey elements of a significant number of credit linked notes which are issued as part of synthetic securitisation structures.
