Steve has extensive experience in banking and finance transactions in both the Irish and UK markets. He advises both lenders and borrowers on a full range of secured and unsecured finance transactions including bilateral and syndicated loans, security and intercreditor packages, asset and project finance transactions, warehousing structures, securitisations, real estate finance, acquisition finance and restructurings.
Steve has experience in reviewing loan and security packages and advising on restructuring and enforcement options. He has acted for an array of financial institutions, purchasers and funders on loan portfolio sales transactions and their ongoing servicing. Steve has been recommended for Banking & Finance in Chambers since 2006 and is a senior partner in the firm’s Banking & Finance Department.

- acted for the lending syndicate in relation to the provision of a €250,000,000 credit facility to a major listed company
- acted for the lenders on the €100,000,000 development financing of the former HQ of the Central Bank of Ireland
- acted for a major development company on the consensual restructuring of its debt (€500,000,000)
