Steve is the Deputy Head of Rajah & Tann Singapore’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice. His expertise lies in the areas of Data Protection, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Intellectual Property, Communications and Digital Media / Entertainment and Telecommunications law.
He is at the forefront of data privacy law work and developments in South East Asia. Steve’s work in personal data protection law and data/cybersecurity in Singapore is a first for various service offerings. An instance includes providing a one-stop-shop data/cyber breach service that combines legal and technical forensic services.
Steve has been appointed Adjunct Professor of the Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore, to teach its Privacy & Data Protection law course. Steve co-founded Rajah & Tann Technologies Pte Ltd, the corporate arm of Rajah & Tann Asia that provides market leading tech-enabled legal solutions to clients. Most recently, he co-founded Rajah & Tann Cybersecurity Pte Ltd which focuses on providing professional cybersecurity services to help clients protect, mitigate against cyber-attacks, minimise disruptions from a security breach and effectively deal with a breach incident.
