Tom Penland has significant transactional, regulatory, and operational experience with electric energy generation technologies, including clean energy (solar, wind, fuel cells, and battery storage), traditional fossil fuels (natural gas and coal), nuclear energy (pressurized water reactors and boiling water reactors), and smart grid technologies. He represents several types of clients within the energy sector, including electric utilities, independent power producers, energy marketers, renewable energy developers, transmission providers, and large commercial energy users on commercial energy transactions as well state and federal regulatory matters.
