Tim Pavlov

Practice Areas

Tim is a member of the firm’s Financial Services practice. He specializes in corporate insurance, transactional and regulatory matters, as well as consumer protection-related matters. He works with a broad range of public and private sector clients in the property and casualty, life and reinsurance sectors of the insurance industry. Tim regularly advises on all aspects of corporate, transactional and regulatory law, whether federal or provincial, and acts as counsel to a broad range of clients, including insurers and foreign insurers, reinsurers, banks, and insurance intermediaries, on all aspects of their operations.

Tim also has experience in governance and board related matters relating to not-for-profit and charity organizations. He regularly advises and provides strategic advice to help clients stay in compliance with the complex regulatory regimes that apply to not-for-profit and charitable organizations.

Tim is a native speaker of both Russian and English and has a limited working proficiency in French and Kazakh.
