Tom's practice involves both litigation in the Courts (at all levels including the Supreme Court) and by way of arbitration (both as arbitrator and as counsel). Tom handles a wide range of commercial litigation but also conducts trust and construction cases.
For six years he held the (part time) position of Chief Justice of the Cook Islands.
Tom has consistently been ranked in Chambers and Partners Global and Asia-Pacific Guides for 14 years, and was ranked as a Leading Silk in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific Rankings 2024 for commercial disputes.
