William H. Gorrod focuses his practice on providing practical and commercial solutions to challenging state and local tax (SALT) needs across the United States. Working with large corporate clients and partnership entities across several industries, Will handles SALT planning, compliance, and corporate transactions. He regularly advises on matters pertaining to state and local income and franchise taxes, gross receipt taxes, sales and use taxes, payroll taxes, real estate transfer taxes, and property taxes. Will additionally manages SALT controversies, including audits, administrative appeals, voluntary disclosure agreements, penalty abatements, and amnesty programs.
