Yann Aguila, Partner, heads the firm’s Public Law Practice.

He advises on all aspects of public law and environmental law in connection with transactions and litigation.

Career

Prior to joining Bredin Prat (2011), he was a member of the French supreme administrative court, the Conseil d’État, since 1990, as Deputy Secretary-General (2001-2004), Commissaire du gouvernement au Conseil d’État (2004-2009) and as a judge within the Litigation Division (2009-2011). He also acted as legal adviser to the President of the Republic of Senegal (1995-2001).

He lectures on public law and environmental law at Sciences Po and at the Paris Bar School.

Professional Memberships

He is a member of the legal think-tank, the Club des Juristes, where he chairs the Environmental Law Commission.
