White Collar Defense and Regulation:

C&G's UK White Collar Defense & Regulation practice handles clients’ most sensitive and complex regulatory, investigative, and criminal defense matters. As a full-service law firm, C&G offers multi-dimensional guidance that covers the full spectrum of needs for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) and high-net-worth (HNW) individuals. The firm is also particularly aware of the requirement for discreet, effective advice and action to avoid, and where necessary deal with, investigative interest and risk.

Led by highly experienced, distinguished lawyers – including the former head of and a former senior prosecutor from the Serious Fraud Office and a leading barrister and King’s Counsel with recognised high-net-worth and defence experience – the practice has extensive expertise advising UHNW and HNW individuals on a diverse range of potential and actual issues. The team advises on conventional issues, which include investigations related to fraud, money laundering, corruption, market manipulation, market abuse, and insider trading. The team is often called upon to provide effective tactical advice regarding potential defence strategies and is able to call upon both defence experience at the highest level and rare insight into the focus, interests and procedures of law enforcement and regulatory agencies in the UK, U.S., and Europe.
