Hubei Dewell & Partners Law Firm (‘Dewell & Partners’) is a comprehensive law firm approved by the Department of Justice of Hubei Province. At present, it has established 4 offices in Jianghan District of Wuhan, Wuhan Area of China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone, China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone Yichang Area and Shanghai.

As the only founding member in Central China, Dewell & Partners participated in the launching of and joined Sino-Global Legal Alliance (SGLA), one of the most influential inter-attorney cooperation organizations worldwide. Case: In 2015, Hubei Dewell & Partners Law Firm signed the “Contract for the Employment of Perennial Legal Consultant” with Provincial Public Security Department. Therefore, as a team of practicing attorneys, it acts as the perennial legal consultant to the Provincial Public Security Department.

Case: In June 2019, Hui Lyu Ecological Technology Groups Co., Ltd. (‘Hui Lyu 5’) engaged Dewell & Partners to provide legal services for its IPO. This is the first mainboard IPO project from NEEQ system in Wuhan in the last ten years served by a Wuhan law firm.

Foreign-related Legal Service:
Case: A Californian filed a lawsuit against Hubei Provincial People’s Government and the former Wuhan Industrial Investment Development Group Co., Ltd. in the Central District Court of California. Under the efforts of the attorneys of Dewell & Partners, Hubei Provincial People’s Government won the first instance. And in the end, the original judgment was upheld in the second instance, which shows that the aggressive response of Hubei Provincial People’s Government received the final victory. The foreign-related legal team of Dewell & Partners has worked on cross-border M & A projects such as Siemens acquisition of ChangDong Group and overseas projects such as China-Belgium Technology Center, real estate project in Brisbane Gold Coast in Australia, Russia MMK Hot Rolled Water Treatment Project and International Contracting Project for the Nairobi-Malaba Expressway in Kenya.
