Moreno Sáez & Avilés assists clients from a wide range of industrial sectors. It specialises in providing legal and strategic advice at all stages of a project, from designing and obtaining the relevant sectoral and environmental permits, to the administrative and judicial review of its authorisations.

The firm also specialises in strategic advisory in follow-up and regulatory enforcement to anticipate possible future risks and provide the conditions for continued regulatory compliance. Its lawyers have successfully been involved in negotiations with the Environmental Superintendence, within the country’s most difficult administrative sanction procedures.

Moreno Sáez & Avilés has represented its clients in litigation cases, including challenges against the permitting of the country’s most complex projects. It has also been involved in environmental damage cases in front of both the Environmental Tribunals and the Supreme Court.

Its lawyers have vast experience in building confidence and relationships with both the authority and communities surrounding their clients’ projects. They have led negotiations with indigenous communities in different regions of Chile, thereby being responsive to the social challenges of investment projects.
