Aviation & Transportation:
■ Conducted filings and negotiations with authorities for the concession of traffic rights to air carriers doing business in Central America
■ Advised creditors, lessors and borrowers in the structuring of transactions and drafting of documents for aircraft financing and application of Cape Town Convention on International Interests on Mobile Equipment and its Protocol on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment

Antitrust:
■ Representation of the Chilean company SAAM on its acquisition of a majority shareholding on the concession holders of the main ports of the Costa Rican Pacific coast. Nassar Abogados handled the respective filing with the Costa Rican Competition Authority, representing the buyer
■ Represented Grupo Nación and ADITI Multimedia in a case conducted ex-oficio by the Costa Rican Competition Authority connected with the merger control regulations
■ Represented Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores and Hapag Lloyd in their joint filing before the Competition Commission of Costa Rica, pursuant to the merger of the companies’ container shipping global business. Nassar Abogados obtained the approval for the transaction, with no restrictions or limitations imposed by the Authority
■ Represented 17 vehicle dealers in Costa Rica in a process before the Competition Commission of Costa Rica, related to an investigation for an alleged vertical boycott in the market of spare parts of insured vehicles
■ Advised several international companies on applicability of competition laws in different jurisdictions of Central America, including the assessment of their policies’ compliance with such legislations
