The firm specialises in complex and catastrophic injury cases, including head, brain and spinal cord injuries. Stuart Kightley heads up the department, with top-ranked solicitor Ben Posford leading the catastrophic injury team. Other specialist areas include child abuse litigation, cycling, amputation and fatal accidents. The firm supports and works in partnership with a number of organisations including the London Cycling Campaign, Headway UK, The Spinal Injuries Association, The Limbless Association and RoadPeace.Family Law:

The family team advise on all family matters — divorce, financial disputes, separation, pre and post nuptial agreements; adoption in the UK and overseas and cohabitation disputes; child abduction, domestic and international public law children proceedings. Resolution of disputes, including mediation is provided by skilled mediators and negotiators including Lisa Pepper and David Leadercramer. Mark Freedman leads the team of strong litigators and Bridget Thompson, head of the department, deals with difficult children’s cases. The team also provides legal advice and support on surrogacy and fertility matters.Family Mediation:

Lisa Pepper leads this team, helping clients explore solutions to all issues surrounding separation and divorce in a constructive and supportive way.Medical Negligence:

Led by Stephanie Prior, the team represents individuals affected by all types of medical negligence claims including birth injuries, orthopaedic injuries, spinal injuries, brain injury, delays in diagnosis, inquests and cauda equine syndrome.Property:

The firm has two teams dealing with residential and commercial sales and purchases and a leasehold reform team. Partners Simon Nosworthy and Guy Osborn lead the respective teams and handle property sales and purchases, leasehold extension and enfranchisement, lease variations and licences for alterations.Property Litigation:

Shilpa Mathuradas heads up this department and can assist with a wide range of challenging and complex property dispute matters. Her team advise a broad range of clients including institutional landlords, developers and private individuals.Private Client:
