DZP has advised the Tauron Group on the purchase of a project for a wind farm with a total capacity of 30 MW. The power plant will be built in Warblewo, Pomorskie Voivodship. It is the company's thirteenth wind investment.
The wind farm will consist of 15 turbines, each with a capacity of 2 MW, and will supply electricity to approximately 28,000 households. The project will start in early 2023 and electricity will begin flowing from the farm in Q3 2024.
The Tauron Group is the largest energy distributor in Poland and operates across 18% of the country. The investment on which DZP's energy team has advised is Tauron’s next step in the implementation of its strategy to increase the share of RES in the company's energy generation mix to 80%.
