Global law firm Dentons has appointed Managing Counsel Martin Mendel as the new Co-Head of the Real Estate practice in Bratislava with effect from October 1, 2021. He will lead the Real Estate team in collaboration with partner Jiří Stržínek, who will continue as the other co-head.

 
Martin Mendel
has extensive experience in real estate transactions, mainly assisting clients in the negotiation of transaction documents, preparation of legal due diligence, and completion of post-closing matters. He has served as lead counsel on several real estate deals in the Slovak Republic, including Tatra Asset Management’s acquisition of nine retail parks from KLM Real Estate, CNIC Corporation Limited’s purchase of Prologis Park Galanta-Gáň, and YIT Slovakia’s joint ventures with Czech financial group RSJ. He also advises companies in connection with the protection of their rights in administrative and court proceedings, as well as in arbitrations in the Slovak Republic.

 
He is recognized by international directories such as Chambers Europe and IFLR1000 as one of the Slovak Republic’s leading real estate lawyers.
