About
Provided by DSK Legal
DSK Legal’s Projects, Infrastructure & Energy practice comprises of a team of around 25 lawyers and 4 partners. The team regularly advises and represents governments, concessionaires and contractors in a wide array of matters including tender documentation, bids, consortium arrangements, EPC contacts and grant of concessions along with dispute and regulatory matters. Our regional offices combine their experience and knowledge in the identification and analysis of legal, regulatory, policy and contractual risks in setting up greenfield and brownfield projects. Our team advises on climate change projects, including energy trading schemes, energy conservation schemes and on regulatory, environment and employment issues, including required clearances, licenses and permissions such as the trading of Renewable Energy Certificates.
One of the biggest factors that sets us apart from many other law firms is that we work equally for government, private players and lenders. In most of the big infrastructure projects, DSK Legal is involved either from the government side, bidder’s side or the lenders side. The experience of advising all stakeholders enables us to provide comprehensive advice to our clients. In addition, our lawyers have the experience of handling projects from inception stage, to the construction contracts, financing (including restructuring), completion and disputes in the contracts.
