Kirkland, as it’s previously done in such growth markets as Austin and Salt Lake City, announced the opening of its Miami office in May 2022. The firm, in an effort to stay on the cutting edge of the legal industry, opened the office as part of its continued strategy to attract leading legal talent. The move was certainly landscape-shifting with a firm with the reputation of Kirkland entering a new market; as such, the opening was covered by such major legal outlets as Reuters and Bloomberg, as well as Miami’s publication of record, The Miami Herald.
