Our multidisciplinary Energy team is one of the largest in Mexico, and offers broad expertise spanning in the power, petrochemicals, and oil and gas industries, with capabilities that include the financing, construction and operation of platforms, IPP plants and pipelines, as well as co-generation and self-supply power projects.

The firm boasts an impressive list of clients in the Energy sector, including multinational companies from the oil and gas, power and renewables markets. Although we often represent lenders, we are better known as counsel to global and domestic sponsors and developers of energy projects in Mexico. The firm has advised various Mexican and international companies throughout the gradual opening of the energy sector to private investment.
