Antitrust:
Focused on merger control and cartel and abuse of market power investigations before the antitrust agencies.The firm has a specialised group of antitrust litigators who focuses on challenging rulings issued by the antitrust agencies with Mexican Federal Courts.
Arbitration:
The firm acts as counsel in institutional and ad-hoc arbitration proceedings, as in mediations, as well as sole arbitrators, members of arbitral tribunals, arbitrators designated by governmental authorities and mediators before diverse institutions.
Aviation:
Counseling on domestic and international law, as well as the diverse treaties subscribed by Mexico and applicable in aerospace and in its territory, such as the OACI and the bilateral treaties with the US and other countries
Banking & Finance:
Representation of Mexican and international banks and other financial entities in the structuring and granting of loans in Mexico and the perfection of security interests on assets located in Mexico. The firm provides advice regarding individual loans, syndicated loans, and project finance.
Capital Markets:
The practice advises issuers on all kinds of securities offerings, compliance matters and administrative proceedings with regulators. It assists clients in connection with debt and equity issuances, public offers and private placements, both in Mexico and international markets. The firm offers advice on asset backed securities and the financing of projects through trusts and other mechanisms. It has been involved in the implementation of landmark Multi-Offering Programmes and the corresponding follow-on offerings, CKDs, CERPIs, and other securitisation programmes. Corporate Criminal Liability & Compliance:
The firm's services are divided into two areas. Its prevention practice specialises in corporate and criminal compliance as well as prevention of corporate criminal liability through programs, business policies, risk identification, administrative standards and compliance with organisational control requirements regulated. Its second practice provides legal representation services in global investigations, alternative justice, plea bargain and negotiation of remedial agreements and criminal litigation.
Corporate Services:
The firm's practice regularly assists clients with management of board meetings, the establishment and administration of SPVs, maintenance of statutory records and related correspondence with the relevant authorities, and drafting shareholder and board resolutions.
Data Protection:
The data protection practice advises on matters as diverse as the preparation of privacy notices, policies and processes for the fulfillment of national and international obligations in data protection matters, handling and response to security incidents and data breaches, national and international data transfer and daily management of data protection, including sensitive and employee data, training and preparation of audits, as well as procedures before the INAI and challenge and defense of the same in jurisdictional instances.
Energy & Infrastructure:
Legal advice to companies and public entities in energy projects including regulatory, corporate, and financial aspects. The firm has advised various Mexican and international companies in the opening of the energy sector to private investment, participating in transportation and distribution of natural gas projects, as well as projects concerning electric energy co-generation and self-supply.
Environmental:
Consultancy services as well as litigation matters. Some of the matters usually handled by the firm, relate to national waters, federal terrestrial maritime zone concessions, environmental and risk impact authorisations, waste management, change of forestry use of land, among others.

Intellectual Property:
The IP practice advises some of the most iconic brands and IP-heavy companies in Mexico. It offers efficient solutions to protect client’s products and brands to capitalize on their intellectual property rights. The firm offers both counseling, enforcement and prosecution, and the team specialized in IP litigation, trademarks, information technology law, data privacy, domain names, unfair competition issues and copyrights. Our teamassist clients with sophisticated appeals before higher courts and the Supreme Court. The IP team often plays a critical role in the due diligence process of transactional matters, and advises on license agreements, franchise, sponsorship agreements and joint ventures.

Acted as counsel to Hermes Desarrollos Turísticos and Construcción de Proyectos Turísticos Hermes, in the negotiation and execution of a credit agreement with a syndicate of leading banks, for an amount of USD 21 million.
Represented Banco Sabadell, Institución de Banca Múltiple, in granting to Bluemex Power 1, a senior loan for an amount up to USD 67 million for the construction, development, installation, equipment, commissioning, operation and maintenance of a photovoltaic project with a plate capacity of 90MW .
