Our dedicated team of lawyers assist employers to effectively manage legal matters relating to Employment and Industrial Relations. As the first firm in the country to establish a focused-driven team catering exclusively to the practice of employment and administrative law, we have a rich and diversified experience in this area.
The firm’s early practitioners before the Industrial Court include prolific legal personalities such as Dato’ Mahadev Shankar and Dato’ V. L. Kandan, followed by V. T. Nathan in the early 1970s who became the firm’s first lawyer to undertake a fully specialised practice in Industrial Relations. Sivabalah Nadarajah who currently heads this pioneering Practice Group joined the team in 1984 and is renowned in the employment law landscape.
Today, our Employment & Administrative Law Practice Group continues to offer comprehensive representation and assistance to clients involved in various stages of employment-related dispute resolution. We have been engaged in cases that have contributed to the evolution and expansion of administrative law in this country.
