Yulchon’s IP Group is well known for effectively communicating technical and legal arguments to the Courts and the Korean Intellectual Property Trial and Appeal Board (“KIPTAB”). Four of our Korean partners served significant tenures in the judiciary, for an aggregate total of over 66 years of experience on the bench. In addition, almost all of our associates have technical degrees, and we also have six experienced patent attorneys (in addition to two foreign attorneys who are also patent attorneys in foreign jurisdictions), including three former patent examiners, two of whom are former administrative patent judges at the KIPTAB. Our team also includes four licensed pharmacists. The combination of experience in the judiciary and the KIPTAB and our collective technical knowledge has helped us to provide excellent results for our clients.
