True to our Texas roots, Carter Arnett also handles oil and gas disputes, including those related to transportation and processing agreements, royalty payments, pipeline operations and rights-of-way.

We represent both public and private companies in employment discrimination matters from the investigation and charge stage through trial. Our employment practice also includes general advice and drafting of employment policies, contracts and compensation agreements, as well as litigation to enforce and defend against employment contract claims and actions relating to non-competition covenants.

Our intellectual property practice focuses on the protection of intellectual property through trade secret litigation, copyright and trademark enforcement, and patents. We have represented clients in numerous trade secret and unfair competition matters in state and federal court, and have tried patent cases in federal courts throughout the United States, including on the “rocket docket” of the Eastern District of Texas.
