• Corporate: offering the full range of corporate finance work, including mainstream mergers and acquisitions, acting for banks and other financial institutions in the provision of acquisition finance facilities, advising international clients and entrepreneurs on expansion and growth structures.
• Commercial and IT: working with a diverse range of clients the team partners clients on complex deals in relation to commercial and IT contracts; information law; business models; trading and e-commerce advice; outsourcing; and competition.
• Data and information law: failing to comply with GDPR is one of the most serious risks a business can face. They ensure businesses have the necessary processes, procedures and documents in place to be compliant.
• Intellectual property: assisting with the identification, protection, exploitation and enforcement of rights in patents, designs, trade marks, copyright, databases, confidential information and related rights.
• Real estate: long-term personal relationships across a wide range of sectors, with particular expertise in commercial and residential developments, corporate occupier and secured lending.The team includes expertise in construction and real estate litigation.

• Court of protection and PI Trusts: manages complex applications to the Court of Protection, including those for deputyship, statutory wills and a wide range of other applications relating to adults who lack mental capacity. It acts as professional deputy for many adults, where nobody else is suitable or if particular expertise is required.
• Employment: ensures clients are aware of all the options relating to the relevant regulations; adopting HR strategies, procedures and terms that develop staff, as well as reducing risk.
