Privacy & Access to Information:
Harris has significant experience advising provincially regulated public bodies on their obligations under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA); federally regulated private sector employers on their obligations under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA); and provincially regulated private sector employers on issues arising under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Workers’ Compensation/OH&S:
Harris works with clients using in-depth knowledge of, and experience with the workers’ compensation system to help clients fulfill their legal rights and obligations, evaluate and respond to compensation claims, and ultimately to reduce costs.
