Ramdays was set up in the 1970's by the late Mr. Muhammad Farooq, a notable lawyer, recognized by the Hon. Judges of the Supreme Court who honoured him by placing his name on the Role of Senior Advocates of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. With an illustrious legal career as a practicing lawyer, he was twice appointed as the Attorney General for Pakistan.

The Chamber takes pride in having produced lawyers of excellence, judges who remained in the subordinate judiciary and justices who have adorned the bench of the Lahore High Court and of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Today, the team at Ramdays, with offices in Islamabad and Lahore and practice in courts throughout Pakistan, is spearheaded by its Senior Partner, Justice Retired Khalil ur Rahman Ramday, a retired justice of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of Pakistan and Mustafa Ramday as its Managing Partner. Mustafa was officiated as the Advocate General of Punjab in 2013 and has worked closely with judges and chief justices in strengthening of the judicature as the advocate general. He has also co-worked with some of the most senior advocates of Pakistan on disputes of national and international significance. Moreover, he has, on multiple occasions played a positive role in acting as the bridge between the bench and the government for effective administration of justice. As Advocate General of the largest province, by way of population, he has advised the chief minister, the cabinet and the provincial government on legal and constitutional matters along with represented the province in the high courts and the supreme court as the first law officer.

At Ramdays our clients from the financial sector have regularly utilised our professional services in assisting them with modular transactions comprising of lending tools like Bonds, ECA, GDR, etc. being undertaking Islamic modes of financing such as Sukok, Musharika, etc. wherein we have acted as local/Pakistani legal counsel to local and foreign consortiums.

We at Ramdays are also pleased to submit that we have, through decrees, ad-interim injunctions and successful executions helped all our clients in affectively recovering their debts from wilful and non-wilful defaulters to the tune of hundreds of millions of rupees. We also have a dedicated team of professionals that has, so far, solely recovered monies embezzled through some of the biggest white-collar frauds committed in Pakistan. Our team of professional litigators also has the edge of using prosecution agencies very effectively in recovery of debts through Police (arrest & detention), the Federal Investigation Agency and the National Accountability Bureau based on their rapport and regular interaction.
