On corporate transactions, in addition to the transactional advice it provides, the firm also handles all specialised areas, such as competition, intellectual property and labour law in-house, making transactions seamless and efficient. TURUNÇ also provides full ongoing legal advice post-closing in all areas.

TURUNÇ’s corporate strength is matched by its deep experience in dispute resolution. Its team litigates several hundred cases each year in various industries across a wide range of areas. These include competition, corporate and commercial, finance, insolvency, insurance, intellectual property, real estate, administrative and tax litigation, and tort and product liability defence.

TURUNÇ’s technology practice is one of the leading practices in Turkey and covers, among other things, the following:

• Representation of venture capital, corporate venture capital and private equity funds on their investments in start-ups as well as more mature technology companies
• Representation of multinational technology companies in their acquisitions

TURUNÇ formed its dedicated technology practice in the 1990s. Founding Partner Noyan Turunç was the only lawyer to speak and deliver a paper at the 1st Technology Congress of Turkey in 1998, organized by TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), TTGV (Technology Development Foundation of Turkey) and TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry & Business Association — Turkey’s most influential business association).

Continuing the tradition, practice co-head Kerem Turunç serves as a co-chair of the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Working Group of TÜSİAD.
