Practice Areas
Aarushi practices across all areas of commercial law, with a particular focus on contractual disputes, civil fraud, financial regulation, privacy, insurance and conflicts of laws. She has extensive experience in complex and high-value commercial litigation (Azima v RAKIA, Al Sadeq v Dechert, Bank St Petersburg v Arkhangelsky, Litasco v Palmali and Phones4U v EE), as well as shorter applications and appeals on points of law (SSWP v AT, Fertre v Vale of White Horse and Uzbekov v Revolut). Aarushi has a substantial unled practice representing clients in claims concerning breach of contract, jurisdiction issues, sale of goods, bailment, fraudulent misrepresentation and unjust enrichment.
Career
Before coming to the Bar, Aarushi was a dual-qualified solicitor in Australia and England & Wales. Aarushi graduated with an LLB (First Class) from the University of Sydney and an LLM (First Class) from the University of Cambridge. At Cambridge, she ranked first in two subjects and was awarded the President’s Prize for significant distinction in law at Queens’ College.
